The helicopter that took off from Gorkha was airlifting the new-born for a treatment in Kathmandu with her mother.
According to Devendra KC, spokesperson of the Caan, a Nepal Army team and other rescue officials have been deployed at the crash site. “Bad weather has been preventing the search operation. A NA helicopter will drop rescue officials at the site.”
The cra@sh site is 5,500ft above the sea level. The 9N-AKA chopper had made last contact with air traffic control tower at 1:00pm. The helicopter was piloted by Capt Ranjan Limbu
