KP OLI Sapana Pura Hudai

The legislature is good to go to direct a test on petroleum gas found at Imadol on Friday. Despite the fact that the possibility of methane gas at Imadol has been in talks for quite a while, no means had been taken for its investigation.

Industry Minister Nabindra Raj Joshi said that the investigation and extraction of the potential methane gas at Imadol will be tried on Friday. A group including Joshi is planned to make a beeline for the site at 2pm today.

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JAICA) in 1980 had introduced a report expressing plausibility of petroleum gas at Imadol. In any case, no works for gas investigation were started.
